JOB SEEKER INFORMATION
Welcome to 101JobSearch.com! Registration and searching for a job is totally free for you. Your information will be kept confidential and never be sold to anyone.
We encourage you to build your electronic resume and upload a Microsoft Word resume. This will let the employers know that you are serious about your job search. If the employer looks at your uncompleted resume or application they will not take you seriously and they will pass over your submission without hesitation.
Building a resume online is easy and should only take about 30 minutes. The items you should gather are: Current and past employers. This includes job duties and dates of employment. Your education: type of degree or certificates, the names of your schools and the years you graduated. Even if you only have a high school diploma – list it. You will also need to enter a headline, career objective and a brief but optional description of yourself.
Sample Headline (seen by the employer search): Success driven professional with 5 years of sales experience.
The more information you provide the better your chances of getting hired.
If you don't have a resume in a Microsoft Word document you should consider making one. Search the internet for examples or use the built in templates that come with Word. Create your resume and upload it. Make sure your online electronic resume and your Word resume contains the same information.
